Susana Sexauer, RDH
Dental Hygienist & Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist
Susana has worked as a dental hygienist since 2011. She has provided service to patients as a myofunctional therapist since 2014. She opened her private practice in Las Cruces in 2017, and has expanded her services out to Santa Teresa in 2022.
She received her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene from New Mexico State University in 2011 and her Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of New Mexico 2013.
Throughout her career she has served patients of all ages with experience in pediatric and family practice. She recently became a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT) and continues to work to expand her knowledge in biological dental hygiene.
Susana graduated from the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in 2014. She then completed advanced education in orofacial myofunctional disorders and participated in an internship with an industry leading orofacial myologist. Susana began her private myofunctional therapy practice in 2015 where she focuses on helping adults and children who have been diagnosed with breathing and/or obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), temporal mandibular joint disorder (TMJ), tethered oral tissues or tongue and lip ties, and other muscle function disorders. Susana has completed the Myo Mastermind’s program with the Breathe Institute in 2024.
She not only brings a love of her job to work every day, but she also has a personality that makes everyone around her happier. She enjoys spending her free time in Las Cruces with her husband and four beautiful girls.
